PIPOS Bids Farewell to Its First Graduate Liaquat Ali Malik After 35 Years of Service

The Pakistan Institute of Prosthetic & Orthotic Sciences (PIPOS) today bid a heartfelt farewell to Mr. Liaquat Ali Malik, Assistant Professor PIPOS, on the occasion of his retirement after 35 years of dedicated and distinguished service to the institute.

Mr. Liaquat Ali Malik holds the unique honor of being among the first-ever batch of PIPOS graduates and proudly stands as the first graduate of PIPOS, reflecting his lifelong association and commitment to the institute’s growth and excellence. Throughout his professional career, he served the institute with great dedication in various administrative and clinical leadership positions, contributing significantly to the development of prosthetic and orthotic education, patient rehabilitation services, and institutional strengthening.

A graceful farewell ceremony was organized in his honor under the leadership of Chairman PIPOS, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arif Khan. The ceremony was attended by Board Members including Dr. Rahim Jan Afridi, faculty members, employees, and students, who gathered to acknowledge and appreciate Mr. Malik’s remarkable contributions and lifelong services to the institute.

On this occasion, the participants paid tribute to his professionalism, commitment, and mentorship, recognizing his vital role in shaping generations of professionals and supporting the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities across the country.
