
Press Release : A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was held between Pakistan Institute of Prosthetic & Orthotic Sciences (PIPOS) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to strengthen collaboration in the field of rehabilitation services for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
The MoU was formally signed by Professor Dr. Muhammad Arif, Chairman Board of Management (BoM), PIPOS, and Ahmad Abdal Qader Hasan Al-Mosa, PRP Manager Pakistan, ICRC, representing their respective organizations.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to enhancing prosthetic, orthotic, and physical rehabilitation services across Pakistan, particularly for persons affected by disability due to trauma, polio, congenital conditions, and other mobility challenges. The collaboration aims to further strengthen technical support, capacity building, and service delivery standards at PIPOS.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arif appreciated the continued support of the ICRC in promoting inclusive rehabilitation services and reaffirmed PIPOS’s dedication to improving the quality of life of Persons with Disabilities through sustainable partnerships.
The ceremony marks another important milestone in strengthening cooperation between PIPOS and ICRC for advancing rehabilitation services in Pakistan.
