
Peshawar: Students of the 7th semester (BS Prosthetics & Orthotics) at the Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (IPMR), KMU, are currently engaged in intensive clinical rotations at the Paraplegic Centre Peshawar.
As part of their curriculum, the students are diligently completing all clinical modules, acquiring essential hands-on experience in patient assessment and management. The training is being conducted under the expert supervision of IPMR faculty members, Sir Abdul Haseeb and Sir Atif, ensuring the students refine their practical skills in a professional healthcare environment.
The Institute of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (IPMR) in Peshawar, operating under Khyber Medical University (KMU), is a pioneering institution dedicated to advancing rehabilitation sciences and healthcare education in Pakistan . It has recently achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first institute in the country to receive approval from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to launch MS programs in Prosthetics & Orthotics and Occupational Therapy .
