News & Updates3 months ago

The orthotics and prosthetics community across Pakistan is deeply saddened by the passing of Abdullah Ishtiaq Randhawa, a young professional whose compassion, dedication, and humility touched countless lives. Born in 1999, Abdullah left this world on 24 November 2025, leaving behind a legacy far greater than his years.

Abdullah belonged to a generation of young Prosthetists & Orthotists who carried both skill and heart into their work. His journey in the field began with a genuine desire to help people stand, walk, and live with dignity. He studied with commitment at GC University Faisalabad , building the foundation for a career defined by service and empathy.

His professional path took shape at Strides Healthcare and Artificial Limbs, Multan , where he worked as a Prosthetist & Orthotist. Even as a young practitioner, he became known for his gentle manner with patients, his attention to detail, and his willingness to support colleagues. Abdullah also contributed to the wider rehabilitation sector through roles such as Campus Ambassador and former Operations Secretary at the Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics. His internships and training at PSRD, Karwan-e-Iqbal, Allied Hospital Faisalabad, and Strides Healthcare helped him develop a deep sense of responsibility toward his community.

Despite his youth, Abdullah represented the very spirit of the profession — service without ego, skill without arrogance, and compassion without limits. His colleagues remember him as someone who never hesitated to step forward, whether it was for a patient in need or a fellow student seeking guidance. His sincerity made him beloved; his humility made him unforgettable.

The news of his passing has created a profound sense of loss among his peers, mentors, and the many patients whose lives he touched. In a field built on restoring hope, Abdullah’s absence is felt as a silence that words can barely fill.

May Allah grant him eternal peace and the highest place in Jannah. May his maghfirat be abundant. And may his memory continue to inspire everyone in Pakistan’s orthotics and prosthetics community to serve others with the same kindness, integrity, and humanity that defined his life.
