P&O Community of Pakistan Mourns the Loss of Murad Ali
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Murad Ali, Prosthetist and Orthotist at CHRC, CHAL Foundation, Quetta, is no longer with us.
Murad lost his life in a road accident while travelling from Quetta to Mardan. He was on his way home. He never reached it.His body has been taken to Mardan, where his family will lay him to rest.
It is hard to write these words. Only days ago he was among us, doing the work he gave himself to, helping people stand, walk and move again. In our field we measure our work in small steps a patient takes after months of waiting. Murad was part of so many of those steps. The people he fitted, and the colleagues who stood beside him in the clinic, will feel his absence for a long time.
The P&O community in Pakistan is small. We know each other, we train together, we call each other for advice. When one of us is lost, all of us feel it. Today that loss is deep and very personal.
Our thoughts are with his family, who have to carry the heaviest part of this grief. No words can ease what they are going through, but we want them to know they are not alone. His colleagues at CHAL Foundation, his friends, and the entire P&O community share their sorrow.
We ask everyone who knew him, worked with him, or was helped by him to remember Murad and his family in their prayers.
Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’un.
May Allah forgive his sins, grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and give his family the strength and patience to bear this loss. Ameen.
May his soul rest in peace. Ameen
