PIPOS Opens 2026 Admissions for BS Prosthetics & Orthotics

The Pakistan Institute of Prosthetic and Orthotic Sciences (PIPOS), based in Hayatabad, Peshawar, has announced that admissions for its 2026 intake are now open for its Bachelor of Science (BS) in Prosthetics & Orthotics programme.

The institute, whose stated mission is “education with a difference for enabling persons with disabilities,” offers a four-year degree programme combining clinical training, hands-on workshops, and rehabilitation-focused coursework, delivered by qualified faculty.

Eligibility and admission requirements

Applicants must have completed F.Sc in the Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering stream with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates are also required to sit the KMU CAT (Common Admission Test), which is mandatory for entry, reflecting the programme’s affiliation with Khyber Medical University (KMU).

Admission is open to male and female candidates from across Pakistan, including Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK).

Accreditation

PIPOS is affiliated with Khyber Medical University and accredited by the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO), positioning the programme within recognised international standards for P&O education.
