Faculty Positions for Prosthetics & Orthotics Professionals

slamabad, Pakistan – The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University (STMU) has announced faculty vacancies for qualified Prosthetists and Orthotists (PNO). The university is inviting applications from professionals interested in academic careers in prosthetics and orthotics education.

Eligibility for Prosthetics & Orthotics (PNO) Applicants

Senior Lecturer

Applicants must possess:

• BS Prosthetics & Orthotics (PNO) or an equivalent relevant qualification (16 years of education, NQF Level 6) from an HEC-recognized university/DAI.
• MS/MPhil in the relevant field (NQF Level 7).
• Three original research publications in HEC-recognized W, X, or Y category journals (higher-category publications preferred).
• Minimum six years of full-time teaching/research experience, or four years’ experience with at least two years after completion of the MS/MPhil degree.

Lecturer

Applicants must possess:

• BS Prosthetics & Orthotics (PNO) or an equivalent relevant qualification (16 years of education).
• MS/MPhil in the relevant field.
• At least one original research publication in an HEC-recognized W, X, or Y category journal.
• One year of full-time teaching experience at an HEC-recognized university.

Instructor

Applicants must possess:

• BS Prosthetics & Orthotics (PNO) or an equivalent relevant qualification (16 years of education).
• Publications and teaching experience are preferred but not mandatory.
