
The Helping Hand Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (HHIRS) celebrated a monumental milestone at the Serene Marquee, Mansehra, during its prestigious Aitraf Degree Distribution Ceremony 2026. While the event honored graduates across multiple disciplines including Doctor of Physical Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology, the Department of Orthotics and Prosthetics ultimately stole the spotlight. Under the dedicated leadership of Department Head Mr. Rafaqat Khan Afridi, the Prosthetics and Orthotics graduates marked their transition into the professional healthcare workforce as highly specialized assets to the field of rehabilitative care.
The pinnacle of the department’s pride was the celebration of Mr. Nasir, a graduating Orthotics and Prosthetics student who was awarded a well-deserved Gold Medal for his exceptional hard work and academic brilliance. Nasir’s entire educational journey was consistently honored by securing top positions in his examinations throughout his academic career. His triumph stood out as a powerful testament to the impact of dedicated sponsorship paired with individual resilience.
The high-profile ceremony was graced by an array of distinguished leaders, including Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Anees Ahmed, Vice Chancellor of Riphah International University, and Mr. Javed Siddique, CEO of Helping Hand for Relief and Development, alongside Dr. Mohsin Ansari, Dr. Fayyaz Ahmed, and Dr. Irfanullah. The event concluded seamlessly with a vote of thanks from Campus Manager Mr. Munir Ahmed, who joined attendees in praising Deputy Manager Mr. Shakeel Ahmed for his outstanding coordination in making the ceremony a dignified success for the exceptional P&O department and the entire graduating cohort.
