OPPAK Professional of the Week: Muhammad Rashid

Certified Orthorosthetist | oandpstudio, Multan, Punjab, Pakistan

We are delighted to feature Muhammad Rashid as OPPAK’s Professional of the Week. With a strong commitment to serving people with disabilities and a growing passion for the field, Rashid represents the dedication of young professionals shaping the future of Orthotics & Prosthetics in Pakistan.

Professional Journey

Muhammad Rashid holds a BS in Orthotics and Prosthetics and currently works as a Certified Orthorosthetist at oandpstudio in Multan. With more than two years of professional experience, he has already made meaningful contributions to patient care, particularly in the area of Orthotics.

When asked why he chose Orthotics & Prosthetics as a career, Rashid shared honestly:

“To be honest I came in this field by chance without any knowledge about it. As I came to know about this field, I found it interesting and it became a part of my passion now.”

His story reflects how a single opportunity can transform into a lifelong calling centered on service and innovation in rehabilitation.

Areas of Expertise & Vision

Rashid’s special interest lies in Orthotics, where he focuses on improving mobility and quality of life for his patients. He is currently working on notable achievements that are under process, demonstrating his drive for continuous growth and excellence.

He identifies one of the biggest challenges in O&P practice in Pakistan as the lack of rehabilitation centers run by O&P professionals to properly train juniors. This gap, he believes, limits hands-on learning and professional development in the field.

Looking ahead, Rashid has a clear and ambitious vision:

“To establish a rehabilitation center for disabled persons to provide every single service regarding rehabilitation under one roof with professionals.”

Message to the Next Generation

Rashid’s advice to young O&P students and emerging professionals is both simple and powerful:

“Never stop learning, never stop serving.”

He also lives by the principle:

“Live with purpose, serve with compassion.”
