The Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC) is Pakistan’s official regulatory body for allied health professions, including Orthotics & Prosthetics. Registration with AHPC is now mandatory for legal practice.
Why Register?
- It is required to work in any hospital, clinic, or healthcare facility (government or private).

Who Should Register?
All Orthotists and Prosthetists with the following qualifications:
- BS (4 years) in Orthotics & Prosthetics from an HEC-recognized university.
- Higher degrees (MS, MPhil, etc.) in the relevant field.

For BS Degree Holders:

Easy Step-by-Step Registration Process
- Create Your Account Go to: https://accounts.ahpc.org.pk/account/register Enter your full name, CNIC (or NICOP for overseas Pakistanis), email, phone number, and create a strong password. Verify your email. (Only one account per person allowed.)
- Complete Your Profile Log in → Go to “User Profile”. Fill in all details (father’s name, date of birth, address, etc.). Upload your passport-size photo and save.
- Start a New Application From the dashboard, click “Create New Application”. Select the correct application type (e.g., 16 Years Education for BS degree). Choose your discipline: Orthotics & Prosthetics. Enter your educational details accurately (institution, year of passing, etc.).
- Upload Documents Upload all required scanned and verified documents in the right sections. Review everything carefully before proceeding.
- Submit the Application Click Submit. AHPC will review your application and may verify documents with HEC or your institution.
- Pay Fee and Send Physical Documents Once your application is approved, you will see the fee amount. Print the form, pay the fee (via bank challan or online). Send the printed form + verified photocopies of documents + fee receipt by courier/post to: Secretary, Allied Health Professionals Council of Pakistan, Islamabad.
- Receive Your Certificate Processing usually takes up to 45 days after complete submission. Your original AHPC registration certificate will be sent to your address.
