Workshop on Bionic Hand organized at PIPOS

A workshop / lecutre on bionic hand was organized at Pakistan Institute of Orthotics Prosthetics Sciences with the support of BIONIKS from Karachi. Bioniks is a social entreprise striving to facilitate humanity in the form of prosthetics. The event was conducted as a result of collaboration between PIPOS and BIONIKS to provide bionic hands. At the event first patient of Bionic hand from PIPOS was presented. Students and professionals were given a demonstration about features , functions and fitting of the prosthesis. This collaboration will enhance the quality services to the patients with upper limb amputation by providing them bionic arms.
